Drik Beta Discovery
Ion Vallance reports from Wales

Concern was growing
yesterday over the discovery of a new planet named Drik Beta after its finder Paul Smith. The 'Purple' planet has its own moon that orbits its equator 3.5 times every Earth day. Due to the planets own strange orbital path it is only visible for short irregular periods. Pakai Pika and Bath Boo, two astronomers from Tonga, claim they were the first to postulate on the existence of this planet. They claim they highlighted this in a special scientific paper over 15 months ago.
The pair believe the planet should have its current 'ridiculous' name removed and replaced with their names - Pika Boo. Jonas Jughead, founder of NameYourPlanet.com, believes the Tongan's have a valid case and has listed the planet under their names on his site.
However, he does see that Mr. Smith provided great assistance in highlighting its existence and has therefore named the planets moon after him - Paul.
NASA meanwhile has the planet listed only as Tush 3519.032 - at least it's not some stupid name said an unofficial official.
